WHO WE ARE?

The Medical College of Professional Studies in Belgrade (Medical College in Belgrade) was founded on January 7, 1958, as the first medical college in the People’s Republic of Serbia. The school began its work in September of the same year, with the basic task of educating personnel with a higher vocational education for work in health and social institutions, for organizers of the patronage service, for work in health education as well as for work in the hygiene service and sanitary inspection. In accordance with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia, the Higher Health School of Vocational Studies in Belgrade is a higher education institution founded by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and is state-owned, with headquarters in Zemun, ul. Cara Dušan number 254.

What do we offer

“Education and Research in Health Sciences’’, ISSN 2956-0640 (Online) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing papers in the fields of health sciences and higher education in health sciences. The journal is issued by the Academy of Applied Studies Belgrade – College of Health Sciences and Faculty of Medical Sciences University of Kragujevac.

ERHS is continuation of the journal „ Health Science Education“, that started by The College of Health Studies in Belgrade, in 2017.

The journal publishes original scientific papers, professional papers, case reports, review papers, previous presentations, book reviews and other (scientific and previous presentations at conferences, abstracts, etc.). ERHS is published biannually with open access. All published papers are indexed in SCIndeks, and digital copies are archived in the digital repository of the National Library of Serbia. The papers are published in Serbian and English.

We are inviting authors to submit papers and thus contribute to the development of our journal.
