WHO WE ARE?

Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management, Novi Sad

University Business Academy in Novi Sad is the first privately owned university in Vojvodina to be accredited by the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance. Our university was founded in the year 2000, in times of accelerated reconstruction of Serbian economy, state and judiciary system, with the purpose of educating top professionals in the fields of economics and law. The main idea was to integrate international and domestic practice into a consistent body of knowledge and thus prepare our students for the challenges of the today’s economic and social environment.

From the days of its establishment, following modern trends in higher education and driven by the market demand in Serbia, our University has become a prestigious higher education institution which offers a wide and flexible spectrum of high quality programs through the interaction of scientific research and educational work.

All study programs at the Faculty are designed in accordance with the study programs of renowned European universities that train experts and operate in accordance with the basic principles of the European study system, as defined in the Bologna Declaration and the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Also, all study programs at all study levels are implemented in accordance with European standards and recommendations. The Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management offers a very wide selection of quality and accredited study programs at undergraduate academic, master academic and doctoral studies. All study programs at all study levels are accredited by the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NEAQA) of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.

By successfully mastering the chosen study program, students become expert and specialized and have wide employment opportunities both in domestic and foreign companies and thus readily begin the path of continuous personal advancement and improvement. Students who have completed their studies at the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management successfully find employment, because during their
studies they are trained to become responsible professionals, able to adapt to new situations in practice and to easily analyze the practical problems they face, with the aim of solving specific business problem in the best possible way. With a diploma from the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management, our students successfully find employment both in the Republic of Serbia and in countries around the world. Past practice has shown that our students find employment both in the public and private sectors. Currently, our students are developing successful careers both in Serbia and the region, and around the world, for example in Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Dubai, Qatar, USA.

Our curricula were designed and developed in line with modern study concepts, which imply the possibility of custom-made program structure and study content that each student can choose, namely, modules and elective courses, so that our students can have an effective response to every requirement that the contemporary labor market imposes. The structure of our curricula is in accordance with the reformed higher education systems in Europe.

What we stand out for is a high degree of interactive teaching, competent teaching staff and cooperation with a large number of economic organizations and faculties in the country and abroad. By doing so, we create a positive attitude towards studying and inspire our students for further education and carrier development.

What do we offer

University Business Academy in Novi Sad is firmly positioned in the domestic market of higher education. As was previously mentioned, our University has been accredited by the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Republic of Serbia, and its operating license was issued by the Provincial Secretariat for Education.

The University today consists of four faculties: Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad, Faculty of Stomatology in Pančevo, and Faculty for Applied Management, Economics and Finance (previously known as the Faculty for Management of Small and Medium-Sized Companies) in Belgrade. All of these faculties, as well as their study programs, have been accredited for three study levels.
