University of Belgrade is one of the oldest universities in South Eastern Europe – founded in 1808. Today, it is also one of the few largest universities in Europe, with more than 100 thousand students and 4,000 professors, organized in 31 schools and 12 research institutes.
University of Belgrade is one of four top ranking universities in Central and Eastern Europe (Shanghai Ranking).
Our school was founded in 1937. Today, it is a modern school with long tradition, aimed at providing cutting-edge knowledge, skills and research in economics, business management and statistics. With more than 7,000 students and 120 professors, located in Belgrade downtown, it is one of the largest schools of the University of Belgrade. General admission requirements for bachelor programmes
There are four general criteria that need to be met by students (of the Faculty of Economics and Business) to enrol in the University of London
programmes “BSc Economics and Finances” and “BSc Business and Management” at the Faculty of Economics and Business, starting from the
study year 2:
– Student is enrolled in the undergraduate studies at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business;
– Student earned at least 48 ECTS in the year 1;
– Student passed the exams in Mathematics and Foundations of Statistical Analysis in the year 1;
– Student has a valid English language certificate, as prescribed by the University of London (list available at programme web site).
Candidates who obtained secondary school degree abroad should have their degrees formally recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. Additional information on this procedure are available at the Ministry website.
BSC ECONOMICS AND FINANCE
‘BSc Economic and Finance’ is an undergraduate programme of the University of London (academic direction by The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE), which is delivered at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business, leading to two parallel degrees – one degree awarded by the University of London (academic direction by LSE) and one degree awarded by the University
of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business (UB-FEB). LSE, providing the academic direction for this programme, shall develop syllabuses, prepare the study materials, and be responsible for the assessment of the students within this programme, while the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business would provide respective teaching (in English) and support for the programme.

University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business offers four international master programs, which are fully taught in English:

General admission requirements for international master programmes
Candidates with bachelor degree of 180 ECTS are eligible to enrol in 2-year master programme, while those with bachelor degree of 240 ECTS (or more) are eligible to enrol both in 1-year or 2-year master programme. As the programmes are delivered in English, candidates are expected to have min. B2 level of English language competence. English language skills will be tested through the pre-admission interview. Candidates who have obtained a bachelor degree abroad should have their degrees formally recognized by the University of Belgrade. INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN QUANTITATIVE FINANCE
International Master in Quantitative Finance (IMQF) is a one-year academic master programme in finance. Since its establishment in 2003, the IMQF programme has become a benchmark of quality in academic finance in South-Eastern Europe. The programme provides a background for CFA, FRM and PRM licences, as well as for a relevant PhD. Since the IMQF has been established as #1 master program in finance in this part of Europe, it provides access to a unique and vast alumni network. The programme graduates are in great demand at leading financial institutions, companies, regulatory agencies and international organisations in Serbia, as well as in global financial centres, such as New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, etc.

INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN APPLIED ECONOMICS
International Master in Applied Economics (IMAE) trains students to combine cutting-edge theoretical models and state-of-the-art empirical tools, in evaluating the economic phenomena and economic policy. This programme provides modern curriculum and high-quality academic training, as well as the options for internships at reputable national and European policy and financial institutions, think tanks and corporations. Experience and exposure to practical problems during internship will facilitate student’s work on preparation of the master thesis, which can be focused on academic or applied/policy issues. Modern design of the programme and its strong quantitative focus provides an excellent foundation for those who want to pursue doctoral studies, either in Serbia or at the top foreign universities abroad.

International Master in Business Informatics (IMBI) is a programme that combines learning and application of knowledge and skills and IT. International Master in Taxation is a one-of-a-kind master programme organized jointly by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Law and the University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics and Business. This programme represents a unique opportunity for those who are set to develop their professional careers in the field of taxation, as well as in financial and legal advisory, since it provides students with both legal and economic perspective of the tax phenomena, by combining a modern academic framework and set of skills in law, economics, finance and accounting. What do we offer
Studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business is much more than mere teaching and learning. There is a great number of extracurricular activities that involve most of our students.
