Our school was founded in 1937. Today, it is a modern school with long tradition, aimed at providing cutting-edge knowledge, skills and research in economics, business management and statistics. General admission requirements for bachelor programmes
There are four general criteria that need to be met by students (of the Faculty of Economics and Business) to enrol in the University of London
programmes “BSc Economics and Finances” and “BSc Business and Management” at the Faculty of Economics and Business, starting from the
study year 2:
– Student is enrolled in the undergraduate studies at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business;
– Student earned at least 48 ECTS in the year 1;
– Student passed the exams in Mathematics and Foundations of Statistical Analysis in the year 1;
– Student has a valid English language certificate, as prescribed by the University of London (list available at programme web site).
Candidates who obtained secondary school degree abroad should have their degrees formally recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. Additional information on this procedure are available at the Ministry website.
BSC ECONOMICS AND FINANCE
‘BSc Economic and Finance’ is an undergraduate programme of the University of London (academic direction by The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE), which is delivered at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business, leading to two parallel degrees – one degree awarded by the University of London (academic direction by LSE) and one degree awarded by the University
of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business (UB-FEB). LSE, providing the academic direction for this programme, shall develop syllabuses, prepare the study materials, and be responsible for the assessment of the students within this programme, while the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business would provide respective teaching (in English) and support for the programme.

Candidates with bachelor degree of 180 ECTS are eligible to enrol in 2-year master programme, while those with bachelor degree of 240 ECTS (or more) are eligible to enrol both in 1-year or 2-year master programme. As the programmes are delivered in English, candidates are expected to have min. B2 level of English language competence. English language skills will be tested through the pre-admission interview. Candidates who have obtained a bachelor degree abroad should have their degrees formally recognized by the University of Belgrade. INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN QUANTITATIVE FINANCE
International Master in Quantitative Finance (IMQF) is a one-year academic master programme in finance. Since its establishment in 2003, the IMQF programme has become a benchmark of quality in academic finance in South-Eastern Europe. The programme provides a background for CFA, FRM and PRM licences, as well as for a relevant PhD. Since the IMQF has been established as #1 master program in finance in this part of Europe, it provides access to a unique and vast alumni network. The programme graduates are in great demand at leading financial institutions, companies, regulatory agencies and international organisations in Serbia, as well as in global financial centres, such as New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, etc.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
The IMQF programme has been designed to provide students with the advantageous combination of state-of-the-art academic qualification and a specialisation in the field of finance. After successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
– Understand and analyse complex financial problems using mathematical and statistical models;
– Use mathematical and statistical methods and computational procedures for financial decision-making;
– Understand how financial securities, such as stocks, bonds and derivatives, are traded and priced;
– Assess financial risk and understand how financial institutions manage their risk exposures;
– Handle financial market data and information systems in theory and practice;
– Work in teams and participate successfully in problem-solving processes.
Depending on the electives they choose, the students will also be able to write and present academic papers or develop and apply computational processes for finance-related problems. IMQF program also encourages students to embrace an interdisciplinary approach to the application of quantitative skills in finance.
GRADUATE DESTINATIONS

IMQF programme provides a sufficient background for all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams, as well as for globally recognised risk management exams such as FRM and PRM. INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN APPLIED ECONOMICS
International Master in Applied Economics (IMAE) trains students to combine cutting-edge theoretical models and state-of-the-art empirical tools, in evaluating the economic phenomena and economic policy. This programme provides modern curriculum and high-quality academic training, as well as the options for internships at reputable national and European policy and financial institutions, think tanks and corporations.
