Bachelor Studies – 3 years

The Hotel Managment study program is intended for young creative people who love challenges and innovations and who are ready to work in various catering establishments for accommodation, including hotels of the highest categories belonging to well-known global chains. The hotel management study program offers students mastery of various theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The focus is on the accommodation sector, work on the sale of hotel services and reception of guests, which implies appropriate IT skills, as well as knowledge of foreign languages, but above all communication skills that come to the fore in direct contact with guests. Those who choose the hotel management study program will learn to be good psychologists, to recognize different cultures and customs in the behavior of hotel guests, to solve their problems and encourage their satisfaction. In this way, they will become dedicated hoteliers who love their work and who are professionally realized through loyal and satisfied guests.

Studies of Gastronomy Management

The Gastronomy study program is intended for young creative people who love challenges and innovations and who are ready to work in various catering kitchens, including specialized and exclusive restaurants, as well as top category hotels belonging to well-known global chains. This study program offers students mastery of various theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of nutrition and gastronomy. The focus of theoretical and practical study is gastronomy as a science, art and skill. This implies long-term work in the kitchen in order to acquire certain knowledge, mastering specific skills and practical experience, as well as discipline and self-discipline, readiness for teamwork, but above all love for this profession and great persistence in order to achieve the desired career success. Those who choose this study program will learn to be competent, professional gastronomes, whose career knows no boundaries.

The study program Restaurant Management is intended for young creative people who like challenges and innovations and who are ready to work in various catering establishments for the provision of food and beverage services, i.e. in restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels, including those of the highest categories belonging to well-known global chains . This study program offers students mastery of various theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of guest service. The focus is on catering within the food and beverage sector, work on reception of guests, sales, presentation and servicing of catering products, which implies high professional competence, knowledge of foreign languages, as well as communication skills that come to the fore in direct contact with guests. Those who choose this study program will learn to be good psychologists, to recognize different cultures and customs in the behavior of restaurant guests, to help them choose and coordinate food and drink choices, and to encourage their satisfaction. In this way, they will become dedicated restaurateurs who love their work and who are professionally realized through loyal and satisfied guests.

What do we offer

The Department of the College of Hotel Management has its own library with a reading room. The library has about 1,500 books in Serbian and foreign languages related to the basic activity of our department, as well as all textbooks published by the school, professional journals, etc. In addition to the mentioned editions, the school library also stores copies of all defended diploma theses, which, like all other material, are available to students of the Higher School of Hotel Management department. In particular, we highlight a significant number of popular scientific and professional literature in various foreign languages, which represents a good basis for an interactive and combined approach in acquiring the necessary professional knowledge and learning appropriate foreign languages and improving various language skills.
